Nokkian outpost nat review

I couldn't find many reviews on this tire, so thought I would post one up.

275/70/17
I can confirm there is zero rubbing on stock suspension on trd pro wheels.

The tires have an e load rating, but they're not any rougher then the oem dunlops.

They're whisper quiet on dry pavement, and the tread pattern looks great. For an aggressive all terrain tire, they're very comfortable on the road.

I'll update this review as things progress and the snow starts to fly. I live in Calgary, and regularly drive through the mountains to BC, curious to see how these hold up in extreme winter conditions.

Price wise, these came in $400 cheaper then ko3. Purchased from kal tire.
$1500 Canadian installed, mounted/balanced with a discount through my employer.

 

That's very interesting you say its similar to a standard load dunlop grandtrek since Nokian Outpost Nat 275/70R17 Load E load index is whopping 124.

 

Hopefully they have been improved since they first came out. My father in law put a set on his F150 and hated them in wet and snowy conditions. So much so, that he went back to KO2's. I am in YYC too!

 

In the past I ordered nokian rotiiva A/Ts. The sidewall was like a on road tire, so I didn't install them. I think A/Ts are a new territory for them. Hopefully they are more matured now.

 

Based on the comments on here about load e tires, I was expecting the ride quality to be terrible.

Oddly enough, I can't notice a difference
