    So I bought a 1996 Toyota 4runner Sr5 4wd. Not limited just normal.

I been fixing her up, and now I got a key fob to program...i have looked it up, and read that the RS3000 security module should be on the bottom of the driver seat or under the kick plate of the steering wheel....got it understood....well Mines not.... .

I got up under the dash and found a "mirage m9500"

I'm clueless on how to get this key connected honestly at this point.

I tried the method where you open the door and lock/unlock 5 times etc etc etc...nothing I'm a little clueless can anyone assist me pleaseeee.

Its going to be hard to replace that remote. I would pull the main power fuse by the battery, see if it still starts. It might give you problems down the road.
