Wife has a 2022 SR5 Premium with TRD Pro rims. They came with some Dunlop tires and I must say it rides great. It's time to get new tires and, being a Michelin man, I'm tempted to just go with the them. However, I want a slightly more aggressive look and leaning to Nitto Terra Grapplers.

    My questions are:

Will Grapplers look odd since it has SR5 suspension and not TRD Pro suspension?
Will I be giving up a lot of comfort going with Grapplers?
Do they have considerably more road noise than Michelins?

Lastly, if I went with Grapplers what are the best lift and /or suspension options that won't reduce road comfort?

    TIA

imo, go with Falken Wildpeaks. Ive used them on my 2007, 2011 & 2022 4rnrs. Absolutely love them on and offroad and in all weather. Cant wait to out them on the wifes Mazda CX5.

You don't have to change anything to switch to AT tires in the same size as your stock Dunlops, regardless of brand. They will look the great... the way it should have looked from the factory. Just make sure to avoid E load rating if you are very concerned about ride quality. Personally, I'd suggest an SL rating. Most of the AT tires you look at are offered with multiple load ratings with SL being the lightest duty and E being the highest duty. The most popular AT tires for 4R owners are Nitto Grapplers, Falken Wildpeaks, BFG KOs, and Toyo Open Country. There are also others.

I was trying to decide between Falkens and Toyos, I ended up going with Toyos. I got them at the dealer during buy 3 get 1 free month.

Check out the Firestone Destination AT2's in an SL load rating. They are an AT on the milder side, they are fantastic in wet and dry conditions, they are light so you won't have an mpg hit, they last a long time, and they ride really nice on the road.

Check out the new BFG Trail Terrains as well.

Terra Grapplers are garbage. If you decide to go with a AT I’d suggest looking at the Toyo Open Country AT3.

Otherwise look at what Nimby has suggested.
