OEM Headlights (2023 ORP)

OEM headlights with factory bulbs from a 2023 ORP. LED low and high beams with halogen DRL. They have been on the truck since new (25K miles) and were recently replaced with Morimotos. Great condition, normal stuff from road debris. $600 plus shipping. The box is 25 lbs, 27"x12"x32" coming from Richmond, VA.

How is the output of these factory leds compared to the Morimotos?

 

Damn Damn. I needed these Monday. Water got into the passenger side. Paid $532 for one. That’s a good deal at 600

Honestly though, there isn't a huge improvement with the Morimotos other than looks and the DRLs.

 

Gotcha. We have the Morimotos on our 2020 but we just picked up a 2016 today and it has the halogens. It's for our son when he gets his permit next summer but I would like to upgrade to leds at some point. I haven't had any experience with the factory leds on the 4Runners.

 

I did this upgrade to my 2020 and am super happy with it. If you are on the fence, just do it - so much better than the halogens.

 

If you have the XB Gen 2, the OEM LEDs are better. I have both and we both prefer driving at night with the OEM LEDs. If you have the XB Evos, I can’t comment on them as I don’t own them and haven’t seen objective testing yet
