    What’s up everybody. Excited to say I have a new TRD Off-road Premium incoming and it’s my first 4 Runner. Since my kids were born (they just turned 16) I have conceded the family SUV to my wife and stuffed myself into small sedans as a secondary car. Just couldn’t justify having 2 large SUVs. The kids are driving next year so it’s time to get my ass back in a larger vehicle. Flirted with a Grand Cherokee Limited for a hot minute, but then fell down the 4 Runner rabbit hole and never climbed out. What added to the appeal was also the chase! These last Gen 5s are almost impossible to locate by me and it took a solid 2 weeks to find one that met my specs. I have to Uber an hour and a half to pick it up, but don’t mind after all the work I put in. I am currently in the delivery window so any day now. Excited to be a part of this community and would welcome any information you think is valuable for a newbie.

    Aaaand, she’s finally arrived! Absolutely love her. Ended up taking 15 days longer than the estimated availability date from the dealer, but well worth the wait. Port strike be damned! Officially in the club.

    Congrats and welcome from Orange County NY. We were probably hunting for the same vehicle. I got my ORP last week and had to Uber an hour into NJ for it. Hardly any left. I left a deposit on mine when it was still on the boat .
