Welcome aboard. Our 4R came with Toyota mats too, but we bought WeatherTec for the front as, from previous experience in a couple of Jeeps, we felt they give better protection. - Ted

Hey all, it's been a while since this original thread and I was wondering how the WeatherTec vs. the stock all weather mats have worked out. I just bought a 4R Limited and I'm thinking of investing in WeatherTec but if the all weather mats are holding up, I am sure i can find something else to spend my $$ on :)

The WeatherTech are nice and provide better coverage than the Toyota all-weather mats. I have had the WeatherTech mats for a year and a half, but unless you need the coverage, I'd probably use the Toyota mats until they wear out and then spring for WeatherTech or Husky or another similar brand. My 4Runner came without mats, so I had to get some.
