    Aloha all....

Hoping some of you have been through situations similar to mine and can offer some guidance/wisdom.

I am the new owner of a 4th gen 03 4runner 4wd sr5 with 195k on the clock. It looks and feels like the front suspension needs the works.

Im having trouble figuring out how to go about it tho because its been lifted(2.5 front, 3 rear), has Icon 2.5 coilovers. They seem like they might be amazing shocks if they only worked :) This is my only vehicle so pulling the Icons and sending them from Hawaii to California for a rebuild is a non-flyer. Brand new Icons are also not going to work me price-wise.

I know i need new upper and lower control arms but am unsure whether to spend the money on jba's/spc's and the like or try to find something closer to OEM that wont break the bank. Going this far, it seems like i ought to do the tie rod ends, end links and sway bar bushings as well.

    My questions are:

Can anyone recommend a fairly cheap replacement coilover that will work while i send the icons off for a rebuild?

What upper and lower control arms would u suggest given the lift and limited budget?

Is there a complete front end rebuild kit that works with this configuration? If there is, i cant seem to find it.

Ive been researching for days and feel like ive a learned a whole lot but still not found any answers.

Normally not as worried about budget but im recently unemployed and its going to be hard to save up for parts.
Luckily i am able to do the work myself.

    Any and all help/conversation/advice appreciated.

    Mahalo

Find a local off-road shop that can rebuild the shocks while-you-wait.

For the rest just replace parts on condition. No "front end rebuild" kits with quality parts that I'm aware of. Just replace whatever has play or boots cracked/leaking.
