Would you expect a difference in wiring harness from a MY2021 TRD and a MY2022 Trail Edition (non TRD)? Specifically interested in the rear hatch.

There may be slight variations in what is wired on a 21 TRD vs a 22 Trail, meaning some pins may be empty or occupied based on the model. I wouldn’t think that the actual plug or pin locations would be different. Someone with far more knowledge will chime in and give you better advice that is not so vague.

The pins are probably in the same location even if different colors. Wouldn't make sense if there was a change unless they saved money changing stuff.

But you could check it with a volt meter. Stick a needle in the back of the plug to touch the metal then your volt meter to that pin, then get someone to pit the window up and down.
