Just arrived... box still warm. It just looks so beautiful! Not a scratch or even a dust mark, not even a fingerprint... Got it from Amazon (this), and I thought I am buying something Chinese, but the confirmation message came in Spanish, so this is confusing. Anyways - it is just perfect. I used to have a couple of steering wheels modified, one for my Audi, another for the Merc, both done locally in UAE. But this one is by far the best looking thing I've seen in a while. Stitching is just perfect in every detail. Not a single glue trace (even in places that would normally be covered by the trim). AAAAaaaa I'm so angry it's so late and I can't head over to my favorite shop to install it right away!

    Have a look:

Like with any retrofit I had before, this one is much thicker than the original one. Makes it feel so damn good!

    Love it!!

yeah, should be a direct fit - electric parts and trim pieces have to be transplanted off the original one though. Not heated. Let's see how it fits... I'll keep you posted!

Installed. At first I was worried I screwed up something, but turns out that the steering wheel indicator only comes alive after you drive around the block for couple of minutes. Also my radio controls were gone, but again - unrelated - just Pioneer settings were gone when battery was disconnected.

Super easy DIY job - I followed 4runner lifestyle guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8hiJvQBbM8 and it turned out to be very satisfying and low risk job. Low risk in terms of - you can't really break anything... Replacing the steering wheel on a Mercedes was such a stressful and annoying operation (when you remove the the wheel, you have to be extremely careful not to touch the esp/abs spring or you will need a new one).

And the way it sits... damn. It's thick. Grippy. Soft and warm in touch. Can't wait to drive it longer!

I need to install a new steering wheel. My current one is showing some wear and the carbon fiber looks so cool!

This looks amazing. Never thought I'd like a carbon wheel in the 4R, but I am digging it.
