The stars always are supposed to be forward... I have seen a lot that didn't adjust their decals. I made these for ours. (Technically distressed is also an issue)

Can you give a bit more detail about those? I've been looking at their website and found 1) they're sold out right now, and 2) I still don't know exactly where that thing goes or how to install it. [Sort-of related: 3) my T4R is filthy inside right now, having spent time on a gravel road last week.]

They are actual filters to seal the cabin air pressure vents, which before as just flappy pieces of rubber that allo dust and dirt to blow back into your cabin. They are located on the left and right side behind the rear bumper. I've ran mine for 15k miles now and no dust in my back cabin at all!

Check out OE's install video to see where they go into https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Emq_WTKfevs

It is not backwards, picture you are riding a horse into battle and you look to your left, the flag would be flying on the battle standard the same way. Just a FYI. Blessings.

It's not being carried into battle, it's permanently placed on a window like it would be displayed on a wall.

Exactly correct. Only exception is on a vehicle or uniform when displayed on the right arm or side. The field should always be facing forward to the usual direction of travel in those cases.

If you look at a member of the Army, Air Force or Space Force, the flag will be on their right arm with the field on the upper right to the viewer, as if the flag is moving forward.

    IMG_9398.jpg

In reality, it’s everyone’s flag and due to the freedoms we enjoy can be flown in any manner one chooses…just “proper and respectful” ways of flying or displaying the flag.

Got it undercoated with Fluid Film last night. Drove to work this morning and chuckled at the burn off cloud around my 4R in the parking lot. I need to wash it soon because there is quite a bit of overspray on... everything.

Overall happy with the job for $180.

    I bet I know what happened;
If you have a wife, definitely consider blaming her for unrealistically moving your stuff So you can’t find it. And then wait a number of weeks after you bought new ones and then you’ll find your old mudflaps and remember why you put them there. But of course, your wife will not be told

This mod makes sense I think. But I’m trying to figure out how the air/dust actually gets into the cabin after it goes through the OEM filters.
Is it coming in through the jack compartment? Under the interior tail light covers? Under the wheel well tray areas like where the AC inverter is installed? Between gaps in the plastic trim pieces in the back by the C pillar?

Because I’ve dug into all those areas and do not see any unusual dust accumulation in any of those spots. But I do get a lot of fine dust on plastic surfaces (dash, instrument cluster, shift console, etc.) after wheeling on dusty roads.

I always attributed this to the action of opening a door or the rear hatch and its sweeps in the very fine dust, which promptly settles and clings to any plastic, probably due to static charge.

That's what I've got right now -- a (figurative) boatload of it!

I changed out the chrome valances for the black ones. The front one only had 11 clips instead of 13.

But there are 13 brackets on the OEM, so Toyota is skipping steps.
