Scored a brand new set of TRD Pro Fox take offs and installed them today. Surprisingly very easy to do.

Took it for a short ride before I bring it in for an alignment tomorrow. Much improved over the standard suspension. Firmed up a bit, nose dive reduced all while still being very plush.

I left the rear springs as I believe they are the same as the Pro springs, changed out the rear shocks. Leveled it out perfectly for my taste, leaving a bit of rake.

Just wanted to upgrade the stereo and things got out of hand. Anything specific you were wondering about? The awning is an OVS 180 with Amazon strip lights.

Looks good . I remember when Toyota sold off for cheap the whole FOX TRD suspension kit. I think they were leftovers for when Toyota canceled the FJ. Anyone remember that ?
I wonder if Toyota will do it again since the 5Gen is finished.

Since I dropped my daughter off for college, I detailed her Prius and have been driving that for my commute during the week. Loving the gas savings but.... The volume and track control on the steering wheel is flipped (like it should be) with volume on the up and down buttons and track, forwards and back. I keep hitting the wrong buttons! First world problems, I know.

Guys and gals that have a Prius, what do you keep your tire pressure at?

Not sure, I know it has Toyota stamped on it. My daughter has a 2019 rav4 , she was away at college when it died. She has it jump started, drove it to Toyota of Murray and was on the road in less than 30 minutes. They really took care of her.

Ran it through Soft Touch Car wash & 303'd D/S seat & console pad. Do Pax seat tomorrow when wife's car is out of garage so I can fully open door & not worry about dinging hers. She parks wide of her side towards middle  Went up to do it But she was just pulling in when I was gonna get that done. Sat it'll get all dusty @ FRO as going ATV'n @ Darkwater W/friends.

    Nice floor jack!

I have the same one. Must be 15 years old by now.

Probably time for a new one but that old clunker just keeps going.

Not today, but yesterday. Put a nick in the nose of my still new 4Runner. Damn! I was trying to inch up for a quad cab long bed F150 to maneuver behind me in a small parking lot and slowly inched a bit too far into a palm tree.
I've got touch up paint, but it's still a pisser!

Finally replaced the 7+ year old Duratracs with some new rubber, Toyo OC-AT3's. The shop actually aligned all the yellow dots properly and the balance tested good on a highway run. Good times.

Had it undercoated at the same time, it's been 18 months since the last time I did it. First owner was a leaser, so this 2018 was in need of some attention when I got it a couple years ago. The roads here in Quebec are unforgiving in the winter. The shop uses this product, Corrosion FREE | Non-Toxic And No Drip Rust Proofing , and it seems pretty decent.

Nope! Quebec City is a 4+ hour drive for me. I'm closer to the Sens, and they have sucked recently, and for a while, so my hockey vibe is waning! Sens have a new arena being built, supposedly, again, so we'll see how it goes. :drunk:

A month later I'm able to gather some fuel consumption data. 4 tank avg on P265/70-17 BFGoodrich Winter TA: 16.0 mpg. 4 tank avg on LT255/80-17 Goodyear Duratrac RT: 15.5 mpg corrected for odometer error. So that's a 3.2% reduction in mileage. Ambient temps and driving patterns (rush hour crawl) have been consistent.

That's actually within the margin of error and hardly a reduction. Which is good.
I literally went down from about 19-20 mpg on a mixed city/highway cycle on Firestone Destination LE3 to about 16-17 mpg everything else remaining the same on Michelins.

Yep, that one is probably 17-18 years old! I’ll be replacing it one of these days with something that has a higher lift.

More tech problems... will be going to dealership for the 2nd time.

    1) Went to dealership. They gave a high-level check and asked to contact Toyota Connected Services.
    2) Called Toyota Connected Services. They did some troubleshooting including a personal data reset thing. No luck. Asked to talk to AT&T
    3) Called AT&T. Same story, They did some troubleshooting including a personal data reset thing. No luck. Asked to go back to dealership.
    4) Will call dealership and see when I can come in.

Man this new 4runner tech issues getting on my nerves..:annoyed: I really miss my 2018 4runner. Wish it never crashed.

Installled the minwin3D magnetic drawers and Off Roam phone mount this morning. Both are great products and highly recommended.

Also ordered some red TRD door lights from Operation Mod Out that should arrive next week.

This weekend I'll be installing some TRD rock rails that I purchased from Facebook Marketplace. I love modding my vehicles!

Just finished a second coat (after curing 24 hours) of Wolfgang SiO2 on mine. Should be prepped and ready for the upcoming fall/winter. Now just need to do the wife's Outback next weekend.

No wifi in 2018. That time we had unlimited data. That time I paid $100 for 2 lines.
I down graded our phone plans to 15/month (x 3 phones) with 5GB data. With in car wifi ($200/year) it was easy to connect all devices and a good bandwidth for Youtube.

so technically it wouldnt have helped you if you still had your 2018 since it sounds like that wasnt an option.

Personally, I have never used it but I can see how frustrating it would be to spend money for something that doesnt work. You should ask for a refund/discount during the time you couldnt use it.

I have unlimited data fast hotspot for $49/month with first net, so I dont ever need to use something else
