23 TRD PRO w/C4 bumper and winch sag

    I bought a 23 TRD PRO 8.8K miles with the stock suspension and a C4 front bumper and winch installed. The front is 2.75 inches lower than the rear. What is the best lift to level the vehicle out and best handle the extra weight from the bumper and winch?

    I’d suggest getting new springs to handle the weight instead of a leveling kit.

    Eibach only shows a lift of 1.4" for the front and not available for 2023 yet. I need at least 2.5" to level it out with over 100lbs of extra weight in the front over stock.

    Eibachs are stiffer(plus 1.5" lift) then the oem springs so they should help you level it out. Especially if you only put the springs in the front.

    Those are the only lift springs available for the trd pros

    This is the best choice I've found so far. Hoping to find someone that has dealt with this already and what solution they found. (for the 2023 TRD PRO)

    You might also talk to “CrikeyMike” at Exit Off-road where he is the expert for Dobinsons springs and should be able to recommend a good spring to handle the weight of the winch and bumper. Do a lookup on “CrikeyMike” who posts on the forum quite often in the suspension section..

    FWIW, I have Dobinsons springs on my 2021 TRD Off Road that has a 2” lift using Bilstein shocks / Dobinsons springs and they are working out quite nice.

    Once you take the OEM suspension out for these, it’s non-trim specific at that point. If you get an adjustable suspension, you can adjust it to your desired height while also having a stiffer spring rate. Highly recommend changing out to aftermarket UCAs at that point as well since you’re changing the entire dynamic of your front end.

    If your front end is sagging by 2.75 inches due to the extra weight of the bumper and winch, upgrading to heavier-duty springs or an adjustable lift system would be the best approach. Brands like Eibach and Dobinsons offer springs designed specifically to handle additional weight while giving your vehicle a lift. Springs are often a better solution than leveling kits when you have added significant weight, as they are designed to support that extra load.

    You may also want to consider upgrading to adjustable shocks or coilovers, which allow you to dial in the exact height you need. A setup with heavier-duty springs and adjustable shocks will give you the support required for off-roading with the added weight of a winch and bumper.

    Hope this helps anyone facing similar issues with suspension sag!
