Has anyone been able to get this programmed on a 2021? Wondering if these will work with push to start 4runners from 2020 up. These are the same as the Lexus card key but are being offered now with the 2024 Tacomas. Car Care Nut successfully programed to a 23 Tundra.

I saw that today on The Car Care Nut. Intriguing. I have a 2023 ORP. I think it would. I might try it, but best price I could find was $211. That's a lot, for a little convenience. I'll post back if I do. I have an XTOOL scanner, haven't read all the threads on this yet, but also contingent on me being able to do it with my scanner. I think it is the same one TCCN uses.

Do these implement auto-off based on movement? That is, when you leave it on the counter, do they continue broadcasting (and therefore can be signal boosted by thieves)?

Is that a common feature on keyless ignition fobs these days?

I can't tell as I have not done a survey, but heard anecdotally about that feature being offered by more than one manufacturer.

I received the card key FCC ID: HYQ14CBP and will be trying this week to get it programmed to my 21 with FCC ID: HYQ14FBA
I have read that the FCC ID does not need to be the same but they both need to be on the same frequency which they are at 315mhz
    Will post results soon.

So, when I did this for my Tacoma it required purchasing some codes in order to add the new key in Techstream? If I remember right (probably not), the site needed some code from Techstream to generate the codes to input back into Techstream. I don't see any mention of this for the 4runner. Is this still the case?
