I like this design. Do you feel that the notch is fine to remove the drawers or do you think the handle version would be better?

No notch works fine. I think functionally there shouldn't be any difference notch vs no notch. It's whatever looks you prefer. I like no notch because it's cleaner looking.

i ordered a set of the new ones yesterday. I'll probably install next week. Every time I go in the desert the interior gets really dusty so I cant wait to try these

I see, thanks for the clarification. I'm somewhat of a knife enthusiast but haven't bought a CRK yet...although now that they are offering various models in Magnacut, I'm becoming quite tempted.

Self cleaning, huh? Maybe. OEM ones are so bad that at this point anything will be better. I have '23, and they had only some bad quality, thin rubber and some mesh.

Purchased a 2015 Lexus RC 350 Infrared Tri-Coat for my wife so I can take over driving the 2015 4Runner I purchased last weekend.

We almost bought this car last week, but the dealer didn't want to do much negotiating so we walked. Looked at a couple of other RC 350's this week but my wife prefered this color so when the dealer reached back out to me today I gave them my OTD number and they accepted. It certainly helped that it was the end of the month / end of the quarter.

Have you used that radio yet? And how is it? I bought 2 of the 15 watt versions since they cone with the cigarette lighter for power so easy to throw into vehicles but have not yet used it.

I was messing around with it and on its lowest setting it seems pretty loud.

Yes, I have one in my jeep too and it's been pretty good in there. An external speaker in that would be nice, as it's a little noisy. But I'm going offroading tomorrow in the 4Runner.. I'm thinking it will be quieter in the cab.

Gonna try this spot tomorrow for the antenna, not too concerned with range, but it's always been clear in our groups staying relatively close (using the same antenna and similar mount location on the Jeep)

I'm going out mid next month. Going to just put it on the roof and through one of the rear doors. And close the door on the thin wire.

Edit: sorry had a lot of stuff going on here wasn't thinking you're going for a more permanent install and I'm just looking to have it plugged in few a few days.

Oh gotcha! At some point I’ll definitely hardwire it to the battery but it is still a nice system for what you’ll be doing too.
