I'm a newbie to the forum so I apologize for my ignorance. I'm sure this questions been asked 1 million times I just can't find it. I'm buying a 2005 SR5 four-wheel-drive and it has 173,000 miles on it. I'm looking to buy an extended warranty for it and I'm wondering if anybody knows of a reputable company that sells sells such a product that is dependable
I am buying it from a dealer so they're going to pitch me there warranty. I was just going to explore and see if there's something out there that it people have had success with.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Extremely unlikely you'll find any company to warranty at that age/mileage and if you do, it'll probably cost as much as the truck.

At that age and mileage you want a mechanic to look it over prior to purchase and even if everything checks out, save the money you'd spend on a warranty and use it on maintenance and small things that might go wrong.
