The top were you can hang a clothes hanger and rear point and where the cargo cover usually attaches. If you look on that victory site they do a video on how to attach it. Pretty easy.

I wasn’t very clear on my question. I was asking about the traction boards mounted on your roof . In the pic I see the stock rails.
They must be mounted on a crossbar ?

Yeah, that is true, however my local dealer wants well over $100 for 2 minutes of software usage! I have a few other shops I am checking out first when I get the time.

I don't know if I can post links here or not but here is a screen shot for the mount. It came with multiple mounting clips. I bought the extinguisher about two years ago I don't remember where, its a kidde though if that helps.

Windshield chip repair using Permatex kit P/N 81546. The UV bug zapper lamp helps with curing on days with insufficient sunlight:

    I bought a 2nd one!

After buying my son a 2015 earlier this year to replace his wrecked Xterra I've been itching to have one of my own.

Today I purchased my own 2015 SR5 Premium edition in Super White. Technically my wife is going to drive this one until I find her dream car (Lexus RC350), but once I make that purchase the Super White will be all mine.

This beauty already has a leveling kit installed and black wheels, so two of the top things on my wish list are already completed.

First up is blacking out the emblems and replacing the cloudy fog lamp lenses. After that, maybe some wheel spacers to widen the stance slightly. I'm also going to swap the Shiftpower USA pedal controller from my son's 4Runner to this one. He never uses it and that's probably a good idea to not let the 18-year old have that much fun.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
You have two options for the headlights:

    1) Convince the wife that the head lights are shot, so you HAVE to buy aftermarket Morimoto's.
    2) Steal the head lights off your kids 4Runner. Tell him "This is your punishment for wrecking the last one, punk!"

Nice ride by the way. I've never liked the prices at Shottenkirk, they were always higher than the dealerships near me.

Thanks! The headlights are fine, it's the fog lights that are cloudy. New ones on order should arrive today.

Shottenkirk had the best price on anything I could find in my price range in the DFW area at this time. I bought my son's 4Runner from Toyota of Plano and would have purchased from there again, but they didn't have anything in my range.

Some of the add on's from Shottenkirk were silly ($850 for window tint and nitrogen, $1800 for lo-jack and $895 for the VIP confidence package). The VIP package was the only one I left in the deal because it covered power train and A/C). Their sale price was on the low-end of the KBB fair market range and they gave me a good trade-in value for my wife's Telluride.

I don't think it was the deal of the century but I'm happy with the vehicle and out the door price, I no longer have to worry about the reliablity of the Telluride, and I now have my 4Runner!

Scored an RCI fuel tank skid P/N T4R-10-FUEL-ALBK in powdercoated aluminum on FB Marketplace. Stock sheelmetal skid was severely rusted, so I figured I'd replace it while the bolts still cooperated...

When all is done I'll have skid plates from four different mfrs on the same vehicle, thanks to buying used or during scratch & dent sales.

A few air tag / smart tags is a good alternative. You can tape them to the inside of plastics, get those extra key magnet cases and magnet them under the vehicle.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
I recommend this to everyone. Here's the key to doing it.

    1) Remove/Disconnect the speaker in the Air Tag. That's how you find something via AirTag, it beeps. Thieves know this and they'll use their iPhone or Apple device to make any Air Tags in the general vicinity beep. There are videos on YouTube on how to do it. It's super easy.
    2) Hide TWO in your 4Runner. One in an easy or obvious place and a second one in an odd and hard to find spot, like, behind the tail light inside the body panel.

AirTags are also great for pets that are escape artists or parents/grand parents that get lost easily. Slip one in Grandma's purse so you can easily track her! No more "Silver Alerts".

I do the air tag thing also. Speakers are easy to remove.

I’m glad it worked out for you. I had a super bad experience there and wish I would’ve done my research first.
    Congrats on the new runner!

Sorry you had a bad experience, sometimes you just never know what you're going to get! I did all my negotations via text messaging and then when I arrived I told them please don't waste my time when I'm signing paperwork to try and pressure me into extended warranties, etc. It helped that they were pretty busy on a late Saturday evening and wanted to get out of there as well.

Filled it up with gas. I also did the Rav4 mirror swap. The heater connector wires are a little shorter than they look on the videos. Had to use some forceps to get in there to grab em'. One beer job.

Tackled brake fluid, coolant (2nd recent D/F), power steering fluid (3rd recent D/F) and they’re looking good and I think I’m set for a while! (except transmission)

Even though it’s around 36k miles the original PSF looked brown so now after three D/F’s it’s a darker-than-new red ATF in there and I’ll see how it is in a while.

Trailer connector relocate, tint, work lights.
I dropped an 89121 - 30020 ambient light sensor into the dash. I need to test it again tomorrow, but I don't think it's the right thing -- should have bought -0E060 instead. Dangit.

Glad you got what you needed out of them! My sales guy was as slimy as they come and it was just all around bad. Their service dept was decent, but that’s the only props I’ll give em
