2023 TRD ORP Pricing

Looking to buy a Used 4Runner for the wife. She insists on this one which has the KDSS. Dealership won't budge on price at all. 50.9k not included TTL fees. I feel like it's only 2k off for a 2 year old vehicle. Yes it's low miles at 3k on the Odometer but I feel like the price is too strong. I think 49k OTD would be more appealing. Let me know what you guys think

 

Why did someone dump it so quick? And 4runners are getting hard to come by right now.

 

I just checked Auto Trader for 23's with KDSS for all of Texas, and 1) There aren't that many at all. 2) They were all in the $49k - 53K price range.

I'd do it. I know it's a lot of money, but isn't that really a testament to how well Toyota's and 4Runners hold their value?

You could also do a nationwide search and have it shipped to you, assuming you find a much lower price.

 

There's an identical 2023 ORP at the same dealer with 9,500 miles for $2,000 less.

This makes me glad I bought a new one back in March before this "shortage" started.

 

Not sure about a shortage . I was t the local dealership 3 days ago and there was 3 ORP’s on the lot . No markups .

 

With KDSS? There were 3 at our local dealer too a week or so ago. There is a Motorcycle dealer next door I’ve been frequenting (bought a SxS). The 4Rs are all gone now.

Thanks guys, I'll let the dealer simmer on a 50K OTD offer I made on it. They insist that there's buyers willing to pay for market value for the 4Runner. I hope they call back and accept the offer Monday morning, crazy on how some dealerships are.

 

This dealership has so many 4Runners it's ridiculous, but only 1 with KDSS on the whole lot. Heck even in all of San Antonio this is basically the only one I could find.

 

Here's what you need to do to get the dealer down to the price you want. First, you eat a lot of cabbage, asparagus or mexican food the night before. Then you go see the salesman the very next morning. When you walk in, greet him immediately.

Shake his hand, firmly while looking him in the eye. Next, rip the smelliest, wettest, nastiest fart (and loud if you can) possible. This is key, while farting DO NOT break eye contact or let go of his hand. Then tell him "I'm not leaving until I get the price that I want for that 4Runner." If you see his eyes start to tear up from the stench, you've won and you will get that price. Stay strong man. You can do this. We all have faith in you.

One of two things will happen:

1) You'll be banned for life from said dealership. But hey, restraining orders are just "Signed love letters!"
2) You'll get the price you want because the salesman will want you to get the hell out of there and never come back with your weapon of ass-destruction.

 

At my age, I can't trust a fart so I would like to keep myself from having to go home to shower and change clothing.

That was the only one white truck they have on their website.

 

Looks like it was removed off the website and CarGurus. I think it safe to say that it's been sold. I wanted to save some money and risked getting it. Oh well, wife is gonna hit me with the frying pan for not settling at their price.

Do a search on Cargurus. I picked up my 23 PRO at a Ford dealer in June for $49k. $110 flight and a 9 hour drive home but $3k less than anywhere else at the time and very low miles.

Nice truck. Toyota added cross traffic alert and a heated steering wheel in 23. I wanted a Terra, the wife wanted white, we compromised and got white.

 

The new 2024 4Runner in Terra is absolutely stunning. In pictures it's bland but in person, it's a spectacle.

 

LOL, it sounds like YOU compromised and she got exactly what she wanted.

My 23 has a heated steering wheel. At first, I thought it was dumb or gimmicky, especially in Texas where it doesn't get cold. But on those rare times (from mid Jan - late Feb) that it does get REALLY cold, I have to admit it's a great feature to have.

There were days I only turned on the heated steering wheel and heated seats and I was fine. I barely needed to turn on the heater.
