    Hey there,

I just bought a brand new 2019 4Runner Off Road on Saturday. So far I love it. I have been reading through the forum a little bit and wanted to see if someone could give me some more information.

Which floor mats do you guys prefer? I've had WeatherTech in the past and they were great. I want to see what everyone else is using
Which bluetooth controller is everyone buying on Amazon to use Carista?
There was a site link for black out emblems, but I cant find it today it wasn't non lux or ebay
Has anyone had issues with Pedal Commander?

Sorry for all of the questions just an excited new owner!

Welcome! Owned both husky and weather techs, both are great and good quality. I'd pick whichever one you get a deal on.

I've had both husky and Weathertech mats. I much prefer WT. They go up higher around the pedal/foot well area. This is much better if you often get in the truck with snow on your boots. If you don't see snow, then it doesn't matter so much. Personal preference- I like the rigidity of the WT's.

I got the Carista obdii BT reader to use with the Carista app. Worked like a charm.

Ive used both. Have weathertech in my PRO currently. Dig em fine.... Id buy which ever you find cheapest. Both are great.
I use a 11 dollar panduit, to LIVE TIME , watch temps, revs, voltage, all that on my tablet. Read, or clear any codes, if/when i get em, but never have yet.

So far, im zero help to you lol....

The black out kit i got, and have on my rig, was was nox lux, off ebay lol....
And i wouldnt sweat the pedal commander, or the sprit booster having any issues, or making any. It doesnt do anything crazy. I think it just adjust the voltage is all. Nothing outta this world. But, i like what ive read, and seen about both units, as this heavy bitch needs something to feel like it gets moving. I havent seen a single person have a single issue with them in our rigs (4runners) or ANY other type of rig for that matter, and ive sniffed around on both of them. I wouldnt worry about it anymore than putting window washer fluid in.
Ill be ordering, and installing one in my pile next week myself.

Zero help lol, but,.. cheers and welcome to the forum bro/or sis, ..... And ask away. If anyone is a dick about it, ... fuck em. Ask and or contribute .... that is why this place is here, and 99.999% of everyone ive met, spoke with, bought from, or whatever here, has been super rad. Patient with my own silly questions, and super positive on any of my threads.

Neat place, full of people with a ton knowledge and monster experiance, .... that, I'm super greatful for, because, with the 4runner, i AM NOT dont have either of those things, but, im learning/learned wicked fast, mostly because of the clowns on here. And im super thankful.

Oh,.. one more thing,...... POST A PIC OF RIG, OR I WILL BE REPORTING YOU TO A MOD RIGHT MEOW and have you removed !!!!! ...

i wanna see it man lol........ :/
Again, cheers, best of luck with all goings on with everything, and, get out there, make some adventures, go explore, horse around, and have fun (and be safe of course) mate. See ya around :)

Can i ask you bro? I know, you where ahead of the curve here, and was an early adpoter of the pedal commander, so, i wasnt sure, but, Do you have the blue tooth one, or non ? I figured non, due to you on the ball so fast/early.
Also, Im seeing around a 30$ diff between. Am i high on this? or am i seeing what im suppose to? Where did you snag yours from, as, if you where happy, id go the same route, just because.
If you dont know any info on the BT vs NON, because you put yours in a while ago, and havent paid any attention to them since, its all good man, no worries.
Hope your doing well my friend. Happy halloween (Hell, to all of you) dude, and be safe out there tonight.

@Kyblack76 Thanks for the information! I will be soaking up every piece of knowledge I can.

I actually emailed the dealer I bought from and can get the black out kit for $120 which is about what I'm seeing it for everywhere else.

I just went ahead and ordered the pedal commander. It comes in on Friday!

    Next will be the liners.

Kyle, you're absolutely right bud. I got mine way before the BT came out. not sure what it all does compared to original but in guessing it's a mobile sync thing. in my opinion (if that all it is) it's not really worth the extra unless you want to hide it somewhere, however it's so small that it can go anywhere with out getting in the way. i have it on the righ lower half of the dash by the ignition. it's easy access and out of the way. I personally love it. have a had it since early 16' with no issues.
