Trying to stay in a budget. Any recommendations for a lift kit within $2k?

are you ever going to add any other weight? like bumper? winch etc etc etc. if so you will need heavier duty coils. Or you'll sag.

    Bilstein - 5100 Fronts and Rears $468.00

    Front springs - about $250

    Rear Springs - about $250

Over 2 inches you'll need an upper control arm. Maybe OME? $500

Plus alignment. You doing the install?

You really cant go wrong with anything unless you add a bunch of weight later on standard load springs.

Or call Accutune and tell them your budget and see if they have something that works for you

If its 2wd you can use a +2.5" spacer kit up front and leave the back alone and it will have about 3/4" of rake and look great

If its a 4wd its higher in the front from the factory so for +2.5" up front you can use a spacer on top of the OEM shock
doing +2.5 up front is going to leave the rear about -.5 low so its going to look a little nose high. You are most likely going to want to add a +1" spacer or +1" rear spring in the rear to have a little rake.
The eibach +1" rear spring is a little stiffer than stock, you might like it you might not but it gives right at +7/8" from what i have seen after installs.

If you stop at +2.5" up front you dont have to replace the upper A-arms you can still get the caster pretty well spot on. If you go higher than 2.5 up front you cant get the caster back in spec and really need the new upper A-arms to get the alignment right.

I put Dobinsons on my 19 Off Road Premium. I went the original twin tube shocks. Zero regrets!

It's been almost a year and I really like the performance both off road and on. Spent a week at Sand Hollow in Utah running the dunes and rocks, and another week in Moab. Exceeded my expectations.

I've also spent a ton of time running the two tracks here in Upper Michigan.

Put on the appropriate springs for the weight you'll be carrying. They have a bunch of different options.

I would go with them again without hesitation.

    +1 for Dobinson

Edit: Specifically the Dobinson IMS setup. They offer long travel front shocks that should retain some good downtravel even at 2.5-3" of lift height.

Without long travel front shocks I'd advise to stay under 2" of lift height in the front.

Beware that their rear long travel shocks are great off road but require longer brake lines and possibly offset upper links. Long travel front shocks and normal rear shocks are a great option to stay in your budget. Here's a link that you might find helpful.

Under $2k you have a handful of options as long as you don't plan on getting too crazy. Just know that at the 2.5"+ level the costs starts to creep up as more supporting mods begin to be required. Can you share a little bit about if you have any additional weight on the truck, and how you use it day to day?
