Used it to tow ATV to FRO Darkwater for some riding. Somewhere between Here & there I lost my round 7 pin to 4 & 5 flat pin & pigtail, unless someone took it:notsure:. I was on the end where trail starts in parking lot, I used to remove that when boating. Guess I'll be doing that from now on.

Yup. I definitely wanted to keep that. I actually just cut the bottom section to show more of the skid plate.

Toyota also makes a matching one for the 4WD selector, I think it’s off of an FJ Cruiser.

I had the KDSS version on my old '21 and they were great, held up well. The two things that annoyed me about them was that there was no oil filter access without dropping the front section and on the KDSS version, the oil drain access hole in them did not line up with the oil pan drain bolt. Besides those 2 annoyances they a great bang for you buck skid.

Read my mind. I was just thinking, I wonder if they make a black shifter for the transfer case. Guess that’ll be my next mod. Lol.

Still waiting for my RCI sliders. Didn’t realize it was going to be 10 weeks. Getting impatient but only have a few weeks left at this point. Then I’ll be able to drive over and pick them up.

In case you were asking for the transmission shifter, the part number is:

Still trying to dial it in. 32psi just seems way too soft for these stiffer sidewallled tires. I think 34-35 feels about right? Still get plenty of contact patch across the tread.

    How about you?

I've googled to see if moving from a 113 OEM spec tire to a 116 XL tire would require an increase in psi. Haven't found much info but most of it says no increase needed. But it sure feels like it needs a couple more psi to me.

Replaced stoptec fronts; installed this road shower/bathroom from Amazon. I am pretty impressed with its quality and how fast it sets up and tears down

I ran 34/35 for about 2000 miles just because I read that the tyre has thicker side walls.
But the ride was extremely unsteady at highway speeds with absolutely no steering feed back.
Dialed it back to 32psi 500 miles back and now rock steady, no continuous steering correction and super comfortable ride quality. But the damn mpgs are gone for good.

I have a Fumoto drain plug and will just add a tube to drain the oil. I had to remove the factory skid plate to change the oil filter so that’s nothing new.

I bought a 12 pack of Michelob Ultra Light Organic beer about 2 months ago. I still have 2 cans left.
Wife has me on a diet, she hid my 12 pack of Modelo. JD and Mineral Waters are my friend.

Still the best one for the 4runner. All black with white stitching.
The old one though slightly worn from the top after 14 years was still perfectly fine otherwise. That is phenomenal quality for such a contact part.

Added a few things this weekend. Installed a Start-X remote starter with the Voxx Car Link cellular upgrade(?), Emerald Integrations Apple Carplay box that adds Carplay to the older 4Runners, new Infinity Reference speakers all around, and an attempt at vinyl wrapping the dash trim above the glove box. I found an MGM wrap on Amazon, and it matches the truck, but I'm not proficient with wrapping yet, it would seem. It looks ok, if you don't get too close...Interior.jpg

Finally got my Maxtrax boards mounted on new roof rack this past Saturday. And I didn't realize it while taking the second pic, their coloring matches the colors of the gas station across the street. And I had to zoom in on it to make sure I wasn't missing them.

Nothing to the 4Runner. Just new plug & pig to for trailer to replace the one that went missing yesterday. The more I think about it I even hade the harness on top of X safety chains to prevent any dragging. The round plug does have "lip" on lower portion & I always make sure it gets "locked in" & the 4 flat pin does unplug that easy. What sucks is the 1 pin on trailer got ground down & deformed some. took a scribe to reshape it & had a5 flat pig tail to make it fit. The round connector seems to be quality. Definitely put that & tie downs in back when I off load
