Yeah the rubbing doesn't stop the wheels from moving, you just hear it. Load = C

Looks good! I like the Falken myself, I think I’ll stick with P265/70 R17 since I’ll get off-road twice a year.

Haha I’m flirting with the idea of getting 275/70. Just worried about the fuel economy getting worse.

Damn impressive, going a road trip from Delray to Savannah and Charleston in early October. Excited the mpg may not be as bad as I thought. It is what it is but good news nonetheless.

I have Wildepeak 275's. Summer is 18.5 mpg and winter is 16.5. Next set will be 255's. The narrower tire is s'posed to be better in the snow. And is about as tall as 285's. Present set of tires has been on the 4R for 80,000 miles, 5 tire rotate so 64,000 miles on the tires. The most worn tire has 9/16 tread left. 42 psi.with full armor. Truck weighs 5520 lbs. with a full tank and no gear.

Got gas today at my local wawa, then hit the Hwy for work. heres my mpg driving on the PA turnpike doing a steady 78. It did dip to 19.3 at one point. Tire pressure was 34 psi

That 19.6 was calculated on an average speed of 54 MPH, not 78. (See photo). Getting above 20 mpg at under 55 MPH average is definitely doable.

I have a 21 OR with a 2in lift and 275 70 17 C load at3w,psi 35ish. if i set my cruise at 70 i can average 20mpg (figured out manually, not per the computer). At 75 its around 18.5, and after that it falls off quick. And those are figured over entire tanks, not just a quick 15 min drive. going to 285 75 17 (34s) this spring. I dont care about mpg that much, the longevity of this vehicle offsets the extra fuel cost.
