    One of my wife's friends has rescued Greyhounds for years. They do seem very gentle and companionable, but they sure do sleep a lot. Whenever I'm over there, it has to have a paw on me while it's sleeping.

    Found a company in Montana that gives away free bandanas to Montana dog owners to help make the dogs more visible during hunting season. They also ship them to anyone for a small shipping fee ($5). I gave them a donation and ordered 4.

    We sometimes hike in areas that are also hunting areas (D14, D11 and D19). Figured it can't hurt to have some extra visibility. I'll put a blank one on my backpack too.
