Replacing glove box door on 2020 4Runner TRD OR

My glove box door has been cosmetically damaged and a complete eye sore… wondering if anyone’s ever had to remove just the door and what steps did you take?

I see Toyota sells just the door, so...but yikes! $230!

 

$230 damn. I broke the USB cover. I knew it wasn’t going to last on my 22. Of course you have to buy the entire section. Forgot what it was exactly for cost but I thought it was above 100. I get it though with the OP and it being cosmetic. Probably is driving him nuts. I totally get it and I’d suck it up and pay the !230. SUCkS though

 

Is it scratched? Turtle Wax sells a black “dressing” for trim. Looks like liquid shoe polish. I scratched the cup holder and used that black dressing filled the scratch. Can’t even tell there is a scratch

 

Scratched, pretty deep scratches from broken glass on the door of the glove box. I can see it from the driver seat and it’s bothering me so much.

 

At this point I’m willing to purchase it, where did u see it. Can u send me the link? I just don’t know how I could possibly buff something like this out.
