The rubber weatherstrip at the bottom of the window is rotten and becoming un-attached.
I'm pretty sure the part number is 68291-35021 (?)
Anyone ever replace this and have any pointers?

    Thanks
    Jeff

I can't confirm the P/N, but to be sure i would just go to a toyota website like Genuine Toyota Parts and Accessories: Official Online Store Norm Reeves Toyota San Diego and type in your VIN then search. That will almost guarantee the P/N will be correct.

I've replaced my lower window trim/weather strip on my rear hatch. Its super easy, you basically just yank the old one off (carefully) and press on the new one in its place. Just try to keep debris from falling into the window opening. My weatherstripping was the same, dry rotted and some chunks fell into the hatch. I'll have to clean them out someday.

I bought the "TOYOTA Genuine 68290-35031 Door Glass Weatherstrip Assembly" for the bottom weather strip and the "Toyota Door Glass Run - 68275-35020" for the top off of Amazon for my 2004 SE. They fit like a glove and stopped the exhaust fumes coming in. I put both in my T4R in March 2022 and they're just fine. It was an easy replacement for me, just pull out the old and put in the new. As I recall, the bottom has to go on last since it fits on top of the upper gasket. I have a video for the upper one but the bottom is just a pull out and put in the new one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OidqTdNeJFQ
