Hatch Seal Won't Seat Properly 5th Gen

    Any ideas of what type of glue to hold the rear hatch seal in place?

    I just used 3M weatherstrip adhesive but I'm changing the entire seal at some point. https://a.co/d/7mWtbcv

    If it was a kayak I would say use an actual seal, but in your case this probably won't work.

    If it doesn’t seat properly, you just have to make sure the metal is going into the right part of the weatherstripping and that it’s not pinching the rubber somewhere.

    The factory glue itself always seems to be some sort of soft setting “tacky” glue more than a hard setting glue. I’d guess the 3m glue is the same?
