State inspection at the dealer near my house (who I purchased from), and was surprised to see 4 4Runners on the lot. Three ORP’s and a Pro, and one didn’t even have a sunroof.

The job can be done with weight on the axle as long as the LH and RH sides are even height, so the sway bar isn't preloaded. Typically you need to remove the wheel for tool access. On a new rust-free truck you may be able to do it with the wheel attached. I jacked up the LH side of the axle to remove the wheel, then lowered the jack an inch so the axle is level with the ground.

Need to grab a photo, but over the weekend washed the truck and then did a coat of Wolfgang SiO2 sealant, let it set up and buffed off. 24 hours later a second coat, I’m a big fan of the Wolfgang products as I’ve been using them over 20 years.

And then today did my Waxoyl Hardwax Plus undercoating on my frame and various metal bits. Got a bit on myself, luckily eye protection and an N95, but very gratifying to get that applied. Only time will tell how it holds up but have only read good reviews on the product.

How did you go about spraying that?
I'm picturing truck-on-a-lift, but wondering if it's possible to do it without a lift.

Front wheels on ramps, low profile creeper underneath (with a large tarp below that). It actually was very easy, but would have been much easier on a lift so you could actually look aroud without being so close to everything but all in all wasn't tough.

Replaced oil and filter, rotated tires, greased driveshaft and installed new wiper blades on the 2018. Had Bosch wiper blades but went back with Toyota wiper blades.

Toyota dealer had a tire sale going on. Got four new tires mounted, Road Force balanced, road hazard, and tax for $1067.00 out the door . Took it up to 75mph on the way home and dead steady, zero steering wheel shake .
    Ridge Grapplers are dated 30/24.

More info on these, they look great. Enough sticking out to be used as a step? My wife thinks we need running boards. Little does she know they'll be rock sliders..

My wife is technically a little person. We got BAMF sliders. Flat ones with the solid plate on top and work very well as a step. Their coating is the best, toughest powder coating Ive seen, except that its a bit grey. Took me a little bit to get used to but I like them.

My wife thought they were "steps" for a long time.

I've been eye balling greenlane sliders. Aluminum so they're light and won't rust. Hard time finding photos of them on 4Runners. I know hard core wheelers chit on aluminum but let's be serious here...they're going to be used as a running board for my wife and kids...and hopefully look cool.

In the same boat, my wife likes the Predator Steps but they will get destroyed first even semi-offroad adventure. I've been eyeing the Westcost Designs 0 angle sliders, the video I found on them even states they stick out a little further than normal to ensure a decent step. Has my interest.

Would be cool to see some of these in person but we live in a 4Runner free zone haha. Just not a lot of them around and the ones I do see are bone stock and driven by a middle aged ladies haha.

That looks good. I've been thinking about a bug deflector on mine too. Yours looks good, my runner is mgm as well. Is that an Avs?

Yes, these are 20 degrees up, no top plate, no kick out.

My girlfriend was able to use them as a step, but there isn't a ton of room there. I like them because they are beefy and serve my needs as a rock slider, but they are not too big and prominent. If a step is more of a priority, the flat version with a top plate is probably a better choice. Check out Westcott Designs website for more options.
