    Hey guys!

New to the 4runner forums, long time member on tacomaworld though. Based out of Vancouver, BC, and just picked up a 2019 Black 4Runner Off-Road today.

So far I am really enjoying the runner (even though it's only been a day), already getting that itch to do some modifications though...

Awesome truck! Question- do those running boards sit up tight against the plastic under the doors or is there a gap?

Any chance you could post a pic of that interface?

The running boards do sit tight under the door and mount like any other running board. Part number is PT212-35055 I believe (for doublecabs)

What I'm trying to figure out is if there's a space between the boards and the body on the 4runners. Or do they fit up tight just like the Tacoma's?

I see lots of photos of 4runners and there's like a 1" gap. Can't figure out if that's just a particular OEM board (trail?) or all 4runners. Or are there different versions of this style of OEM boards in the last few years.
