Got metal bumper so I have 3" front and 2" rear. My ride is stiff/firm. City driving is firm and you feel the road unless it's smooth road. It's not smooth like stock trd offroad. Ppl saying it is smoother than stock...mine are not. Highway is better. You guys?

At least I never said its smoother than stock TRD ORP / SR5 on my Ironman FCP review. :D

Few reasons I could think on your scenario.
    1) Having KDSS. KDSS are for firm tight driving experience.
    2) "I have 3" front" - From factory the preload is set to 2.5in and looks like you have increased to 3in thus making the ride more firm. Vs me dropped from 2.5 to 2.25ish.
    3) "2" rear." - I used their relatively softer 1.5in spring.

    Edit -
I just double checked my video and I did said "I do like the stock SR5 Tokico shocks. They are nice and soft. I'm someone who likes soft suspension..." :D:D

You didn't get Australian suspension for the highway. How does it compare to stock on dirt roads?

^I was referring to the country of design.

Is the iPhone an American or Chinese product? Are Nike sneakers American or Pakistani?

BTW, I just realized I have mixed up the boxes. The iPhone 15 was in iPhone 12 box. LOL.

It only gets "worse" from here. The more "race-derived" a suspension system, the harsher it is like a race truck. Ultra4 drivers have to wear kidney belts, to put things in perspective.

This is firmer than my bmw x3m. If I want plush I drive my 392 wrangler. Gotta have choices

Measure the actual lift height. On a lot of suspension lift kits, they run high. So if you ordered a 3 in lift, you may be running closer to 4in. That is excessive for the 4runnner independent front suspension, and will make the ride firmer just because of the geometry change, regardless of spring rate.

Also, did you tighten the upper and lower control arms with full weight on wheels? If not, your suspension bushings may be acting as a form of torsion spring. But they won’t for long because they’ll tear. If you’re not sure, it might be worth double checking.

I had reputable shop install them along with their raid metal bumper, added Method wheels. I'm going to add gobi stealth rack but that's only around 80 pounds.
