Just curious to know what these two items are, one appears to maybe be a security alarm?
The other, some kind of line thats been capped off..

    Thanks for any insight.

Not sure about the first one but the "capped" one is the vent for the transfer case, so it good to go.

    My 2004 doesn't.
Just guessing some kind of aftermarket alarm.

my 2018 had a horn also there, i took it out. the alarm still goes off with the front horns. It's just to make it louder, i guess. but useless. can be unplugged. and there's a blue relay in the fuse box marked "SHORN" for it. I removed that also for good measure.

Two horns in front of the rad and one stuck in there. Talk about overkill. Maybe life is really loud in Japan.

The horn is defiantly an aftermarket alarm siren, The previous owner had all the mods added on.

For the OEM horn. Not the fuse for the aftermarket alarm/siren. Are the wires already cut off it anyhow?

Dunno. Maybe the SHORN fuse isn't that exact horn?

There's probably a little accelerometer stashed away somewhere, with continuous power draw and connection to the ignition circuit. If measured acceleration exceeds threshold with the ignition off, irritating sounds ensue.

There is a black box of some sort tucked under the steering wheel, under that peice of moulding, and around the keyed ignition itself is small guage wound copper wire.. for perhaps a related conglamoration.
