My 4Runner SR5 V6 is my everyday driver, I went to go pick up things from a friend when my right side dropped down into a sewer grates divot. I didn’t think anything of it, but when I got home, I got my right side on curb and the truck dies. Originally thought my fuel pump is bad, confirmed by my older brother, due to the age of my truck and replaced both the pump and tank. Still no start. There’s no power coming out of the pump unless we Hotwire it. We’ve been checking relays and fuses to see if those are the problem with no avail. Any ideas?

Too poor to buy anything now
Maybe a wire got almost pinched when you bottomed out, and finally broke when you replaced the pump/tank.

Possibly, but everything near the pump and right side looks good. My search has lead me to some corroded wires, my plan is to repair and see if that works. I will double check the pump/tank and right side.

    Check your COR.

It gets tripped and cuts fuel pump power.

What's the voltage coming out of the COR?

You're going to have to chase down the wiring.

Got the pump working, still no start. We rewired and made a new relay for the pump itself. Going to check sparks, and put more gas in the the tank.
