    Hey everyone,

New to posting but been reading a ton. Thanks for the wealth of information here.

I have a simple problem but I'm not sure if there is a simple solution.

I had the radio replaced in our 4runner and when the place installed the new system, the replacement dash bezel that was installed didn't have the small grey plastic piece that covers the top of the vents/slides under the clock.

I spoke to Toyota and the only way to get the piece is to buy a whole new radio which is out of the question. I've searched all my local wrecking yards and they do not have any 4runners within the time window where the part would work.

Does anyone have any idea where I can find this piece? It's outlined in yellow in the picture.

If anyone has the piece, message me and we can maybe work out a deal for purchasing it.

    Thanks in advance!

    Dan

Where ya located, OP? Search FB marketplace for a cheap old head unit and just pillage the trim piece off that one. I've seen these units in the Denver area from free and up, you should be able to find something.

The install place threw away the bezel, I’m assuming? If it was done recently I’d call them up and ask them why they didn’t finish the installation and left a hole in your dash. You’d think it would have been a glaring omission to the installer. Maybe they haven’t thrown out the garbage yet and can pull that piece. If they still have it, might as well ask for all your old parts back.

I checked mine for a part number but unfortunately it is not stamped with one.
