Do you regret "settling" for an SR5? (softex vs aftermarket like Clazzio)

I just realized that when I posted the above, I forgot to ask my question (SQUIRREL!!): Are the side mirror sensors and alert lamps an option (i.e., not on all 4Runners)? I guess I lucked out, they're there on mine. I just figured they're standard equipment? No?

    Ooh... a lot to unpack.

    1. I'm not the OP.
    2. The OP didn't mention 'locker' originally either.
    3. I'm not really sure what a 'locker' is. Maybe locking hubs, either manual or electronic? I was told all 4Runners have limited-slip differentials by the sales critter; in reading here, it seems more like a computerized thing.
    4. I haven't deleted any posts. I don't know how to.

My mistake. I realized you didn't post that. See my edited post above. The OR & Pro models come with an electronically activated e-locker that locks both axles together in the rear. Very handy in certain situations. All 4Runners have computer controlled traction aids.

Oh hey, I see it now! Yep, I called it the wrong thing. It's the computerized braking that does the LSD kind of thing. Some sites, like Edmunds.com, show that as standard LSD. Apparently there's a difference. Who knew.

It's all good. That makes sense. I know they have several modes and features that are more off-road oriented.

Maybe if you knew what one was you wouldn't consider it a "gratuitous" difference? Asking for a friend.

GENTLEMEN... I'm new here so I don't have a dog in this fight, but can we swallow a pill and calm this down if possible.

Not to sound 'hippy dippy', but this is not why we are here as hobbyists to be keyboard warriors.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
We are calm. If you think this is bad, you should see us duke it out in the "What size tire can I fit?" & "How often should I change my oil?" threads. I think the last one got two people banned for 30 days and it caused my credit score to drop!
