3rd gen noobie

Hello,
My name is Andrew & I'm new to the forum and to the 4WD world. Although I'm off to a late start, I've been enjoying very my first ever 4x4. Two years ago, a good friend took me with him to explore some trails on his side by side Razor & I loved the thrill and excitement of being up on the mountains on trails accessible only by OHV's & 4x4 vehicles. Needless to say, I purchased a used 3rd gen 1998 Toyota 4Runner, SR5 with J- shift transfer case. It has been nothing but fun on the trails since and despite the age of my rig and 300k miles it already had, it's been a great rig. A few upgrades,slightly larger tires (33's),an OEM rear locker i installed, and converted the front axles to manual locking hubs, it has taken me places I've never been to on our local trails. I'm still new to the 4WD world, & eager to explore outside of my area. I'm learning as i go and still have a lot to learn in the world of four wheeling. I am glad to be a member of this forum & look forward to meeting new friends & learning more from here. Thank you for the opportunity to be part of this large group of 4 Wheel enthusiasts.
