love the color. Debating if I’m going to ceramic coat it since I’m going to wheel it.

 

Installed cheap Amazon seat jackers today. I have an electric drivers seat but I’m also 6’6”. After adjusting the seat and steering wheel for a few minutes I took a short ride and everything is good. A bigger difference than I expected from a 1.25” seat lift. Time will tell but so far I’m happy with the jackers.

4 cans of Fluid Film later, undercoating compete.


Tomorrow it goes in for ceramic tint and paint protection film. On my last 4R the paint started chipping where the scoop meets the hood so this time I removed the scoop and will have PPF applied all the way to the edge of the hoods scoop cutout.

 

Today.. I took the advice of some fellow 4Runners on changing interior lighting to LED and what a difference. Totally recommend if you’re on the fence.

 

I got lucky, and most was in car seats or blankets. The little that the floor was captured nicely in the oedro floor mats. Two days with the windows open and it all aired out.

Ive had my 4runner a month and have yet to drive it at night, lol. I guess i can wait a bit.

took me and the dog to the beach for a day and a half. ordered a bunch of stuff but i gotta wait until its less than 100 degrees out to install it!

 

Blacked out chrome SR5 insignia, have more to go. Not crazy about the chrome. So hot here, over 112, lost 5 lbs just putting these on.

Hey, ya so two of the rear bumper cover bolts are located underneath, right there where my reverse led pods are. Used the same factory bolts, slipped in one light at a time. Ran wire down the frame rail with other shit from my engine bay

 

So, I really like the reviews and the look of the Kumho’s. But I’ve never had to use the full spare so I dunno how they are lol

 

I too went the EXPEL XR PLUS ceramic tint. I had my drivers/passengers tinted to max/legal, had clear placed on all of the back glass surfaces AND WINDSHIELD.... (Clear does not violate the law here), and had as dark as I could go on the sunroof.

WOW!!! What a difference, especially with the windshield done. All of that heat coming through and hitting the black dash is reduced at least 50%.

Since having it done, my 4R cools down in less than 3 minutes and have yet to run the A/C on full blast for longer than that 3 minutes.

I liked it so much, I put it on my '23 Tacoma SR5 (with Southeast Toyota XP package).

 

Installed the Canvasback seat covers that I bought during their 4th holiday sale . They’re nice but in my opinion they’re overpriced.

 

Almost bought those, but went the cheaper route

 

Where'd you find the trail roof rack?? 4runner looks great.

 

Facebook marketplace a couple years ago. You can also search wreckers on car-part.com for early 4R's, I've seen them there too. If you do find one make sure you get the crossbars with them as the pieces the crossbars attach to unobtainable from Toyota.
