    Hey Everyone!

I have a 2018 Limited and I'm looking to upgrade to TRD wheels. Before I make the purchase, I wanted to confirm that the bolt pattern is correct with 6x139.7

Also, if anyone has recommendations for tire sizes and brands that would work well, I'd love to hear them! My vehicle is at stock height, so I want to avoid any rubbing issues.

    Thanks!

Pandora's box has been opened.

(All joking aside Runner4Daddy, there are at least 7,526 threads on that exact subject. A quick glance at the forum will fill your head with recommendations ;))

It’s a big whirlwind centered around your budget, use case, current promotions and priorities.

Some time browsing Tire Rack will help.

If you want to use your Costco Tire Center, that limits your options quite a bit, etc.

Welcome! As others have suggested in their various different ways m(haha), I would recommend trying out the Search on this forum because what you're asking is a super heavily discussed topic and you'll find tons of great info...including folks who've just gone through it (like myself).

    Hope that helps!

Nah, there's really only one tire, it's the K02, that's all you need to know. :p

I highly recommend the Super Swamper LTB. Road noise is pleasant at about 100db and well over 5000 mile tread life.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

Slap some 20's or 22's on it! Get those skinny ass douche-bro tires that you see on lifted F350's. You know the kind, they look like rubber bands wrapped around wheels. While you're at it, get a 6 inch lift.

    BFG AT KO2 or KO3 in 265/70/17C

I know plenty of people that have run Interco tires, like the LTB pictured above. They work really well ;)

Here are a few existing tire thread links posted below.
Yes, 6 x 139.7mm or 6 x 5.5” is the correct wheel pattern. I would run an AT in a 265/70-17 to avoid rubbing.
Some of the most common brands to look at are: BF Goodrich, Mickey Thompson’s, Falken, Toyo, Cooper, etc.
Many different brands and load ratings, to decide on based on your intended uses. My guess is that you don’t plan on doing a lot of heavy 4wheeling in a stock Limited, so I would go for a quiet riding, lighter AT tire in a SL, Standard Load.

Get this, man: tires are made from oil. So technically, every tire thread is already an oil thread.

What I would like to see is more opinions on tire rotation intervals, I think that's an underrepresented topic here. Maybe I can drop that in the current Falken Wildpeak uneven wear / warranty issue thread. (Edit: actually, that thread is on TacomaWorld; I'm bouncing between the two a lot apparently).

I'm kinda done with BFG, A/T's. I might still do the M/T's once my STT Pros on my TJ wear out.
I'm considering Goodyear Duratrac's for the 4R next time.

But then I guess it goes back to how often and what oil eh. Never ending cycle.

I wouldn't run Duratrac tires on any vehicle unless you never drove it on the street or simply love noisy tires.

I feel that way about Goodyear in general. I'd never run a Goodyear tire, on road or off, unless I wanted to hate my driving experience.

I ran the 33's on my TJ but it was mostly topless and doorless, so it was mostly wind noise that I was hearing.
But thanks for the heads up. It'll still be next year, summertime, when the BFG's are replaced.
