Been driving me nuts. My 2013 had a 1/8” input and used my iPod daily without issue. How can I add this same feature to my 2021? If I use the USB I can’t even play a full album - just one song at a time. 2021 feels like a big step back for useful audio.

I tried two iPod Bluetooth adapters and the factory JBL stereo won’t even recognize it. Any help would be great. It’s driving me insane.

Have you tried using CarPlay or Android Auto over the USB? I don't have the JBL system, but the system on the ORP works well with most audio players over Android Auto.

Did they delete the AUX jack from the USB port?

I am not sure what USB port/switch the new 4Runner has, but you can always remove it and add a switch with usb and aux port in it's place. Should work just fine.

I'm interested too in getting a traditional / analog aux in. Both Bluetooth and USB does not have much hi-res DAC.
