Had her for 22 years and she has 348K miles...then multiple misfires P0300, P0301, P0303-P0306. White smoke exiting the exhaust. Oh well,,,she has been the best car I have ever owned.

Anyone ever try Fusion Sealers!! ePoxy Head Gasket Sealer...www.fusionsealers.com

Other options are: Buying a used motor or repairing the current motor, but with 348K miles this may not be the best way to go. What have you done?

I would have the headgaskets replaced and anything else that's worn. It won't be cheap but it's better than some stop leak or whatever that can cause other issues.

Stop leak stuff is notorious for clogging other passages and not being a permanent fix anyways.

I would do a leak down and compression test and see what you get. If the motor is worn out, then make the decision to use a stop leak.

Replacing the head gasket is the correct solution.

Looks like he used a fusion sealer and sold it to me a week later. Any advice?

That’s unfortunate if the seller was not forthcoming about the situation and misrepresented the condition of the engine. Regardless, you still need to get a the head gasket replaced.

That’s the bottom line. Thank you for you your support. I just need to save up the cash to have the head gaskets done.

Who is "he"? Are you referring to the person who started this thread? Why does it look like "he" (whoever that might be) used a fusion sealer?

    • If the seller knowingly misrepresented the vehicle’s condition, you might pursue a fraud claim.
    • Consider filing a claim in small claims court for a cost-effective resolution for minor issues.
    • You should consult a consumer rights attorney for advice on pursuing legal action based on the specifics of your case.

Yes. “He “ is the person that started this thread. The 4Runner in his profile picture is the one I bought.
