Well, that was worth staying up all night for?

 

I think thats about it for trout season here. There was some kind of whirling disease last year killed like 400,000 trout at the hatcheries. Im only at 40 trout, last year fished around and caught/ate 143.

 

First cast: Monster Yellow Perch almost citation!
Then: Nice Largemouth Bass, they always jump to spit the hook!
Finally: "Shellcracker" Red-Ear Sunfish, so big it almost took drag!

 

5-6 hours worth of bottom bouncing a crawler harness. Let 5-6 more go that were too short. It sure is more fun when ya do a little catching... walleye and Saugeye

 

Fished Spinney Mountain Reservoir west of Colorado Springs and Woodland Park. This is the biggest and only one I killed. I let 5 more go. I got off the lake around 1:30 before the thunderstorms had a chance to make an appearance. Then tonight we had 1.25 inch hail at the house. Hope my roof survived...

 

I got a "they stocked my hole" fishing event tomorrow. Delayed Harvest!

 

5:00am Smallmouth Hatchery A few people fishing lucky I caught some. Confluance North/South fork, Shenandoah, they flow North!

Well, picked up some ocean perch fillets from the grocery store. Gonna do a little Catfishing from the Living Room.

OK Im casted out back. Usually they bite at 4:00pm, dont know why must be the moon, I call him "4 O'clock Bubba"!

 

This is the fish Im going for. If I catch it it should be the WORLD RECORD, Piebald Catfish, caught with a pole!

 

My friends catch at Lake Pend Oreille ID. 10.3 lb. Kamloops Trout. I had the honor of netting it for him.

 

My catch yesterday at Lucky Peak Reservoir near Boise ID from by buddy's boat. Two 15" Rainbows just before filleting them. And what we do with the fillet's afterwards.

Guess the world has my fingerprints now. Im already on file I spliced and tested fiber optics in the J. Edgar Hoover building....

They should pay me to catch these GD catfish they're invasive. That did not include my Saltwater fishing license extra $18.

 

Tide finally turned incoming at 8:30pm, started catching 20-25 pound keepers.

 

5am, 36 incher, looks small in the pic. Missed citation by 4 inches. This fish could feed a familiy for a week or a few days maybe.
