KDSS

I just ordered a new Off-Road Premium and decided not to include the KDSS system. I don't do any serious off-roading anyway, so didn't consider this system. Was this a mistake on my part?

IMO that's up to you. Not doing serious Off-road is not a reason. Serious Off-road is a reason to buy non -kdss 4Runner.

I not only have dealership test drive time but also friends 4Runner with KDSS time. Then decided I don't want KDSS. Out of 4 4Runners under my name none have KDSS and very happy about it.

But for you if you don't have personal experience it might haunt you questioning for the rest of the ownership.

While I dislike KDSS there are many owners love KDSS. On road and stock suspension it drives pretty good.

Here in CO until my last service few months back there wasn't a day without KDSS 4Runner on the lot. Now since 5th gen sales are ending things might have changed, so I'm not sure.
