Wheel recommendation

I'll try to snap some pics - don't have many of this rig yet. Tires are stock size, but the Toyo's look big so that helps!

 

I ended up going with stock TRD Pro new gen wheels. Aftermarket wheels had aggressive off sets and believe needed hub centric rings which can cause vibrations. Hope to have new wheels mounted on Falken Wildpeaks soon.

 

I have the same wheel -center cap set up. Looks better w/o the red..IMO

Like these - OEM charcoal 17"x7.5 4Runner off-road wheels from a 2021-22 Trail Special Edition Black metal flake with a clear coat and very easy to clean!

 

Nice wheels (trail team spec ed).

 

I've seen these in person and they do look really good. I don't really care for this design in the machine finish, but in this dark finish they look great.

 

Thanks for posting this pic. You just answered the question that's been floating around in my head: "What would my silver Limited have looked had I gone with the Gunmetal PRO's instead of the flat black ones"?

At the tire shop and 1st new shoe installed with gloss gunmetal and wild peak AT4’s. Will keep the OEM machined wheels to be painted black and toss the Bridgestones for something a little more appropriate.

 

Those are going to look great!

 

My favorite wheels SCS wheels Gen5’s

 

The gray/grey gloss on stock suspension with wild peak AT4’s. Personally I like the black just as much but there are too many in my area so went with these. Female Adult Weimaraner included to gage real life size perspective

 

Looks good! I agree, the grey is a nice change of pace. Also, all pics are better with dogs! Those are such pretty dogs.

 

Originally I was going to paint the gray valance on the front and rear but now feel they compliment each other (wheels/valance). That being said I’m eyeballing a C4 low profile winch bumper so black is probably coming anyways.

 

Does the Solar Octane paint drain the battery?

Oh yeah!! Thanks! Yeah as much as I love my Gen5 black wheels I maybe switching it up to a different set of SCS wheels.

Thought I’d share. I believe they fit.
American Racing AR62 Outlaw ll 17x8’s.
0mm offset/4.5 bs (or 18 or 30mm offset options) 6x5.5, 26lbs, AR627883B SATIN BLACK.
I’m a big fan of classic 8-12 hole, black rims.

 

If you take a pic with the sun at your back you usually get a better picture. With the sun behind the subject (wheel/tire), you get a dark image with a shadow. It makes it hard(er) to see dark(er) object(er)s.

 

Oh. 8.5s with 255/75-17s. Sure pulls the sidewalls out

 

Looking into this, have 8.5” in now and contemplating 255/80…
