That's right, i memed... it's funny, dont hate

Thought i would start a build for my 4runner. I may not be able to actually start right away in reality, but it motivates me to stay the course. I have always had a automotive project or two going, usually cars, a bike here and there,.. but this is going to be first off-road/trail vehicle I've had the opportunity to build. Now I've been around crawlers & 4x4s growing up so I'm not unfamiliar with the hobby, but I'm sure I'll be drawing on the community's collective experience and knowledge as i run into problems and things i dont know,. so thanks in advance.

Starting off, my plan will be to give truck a thorough once over top to bottom and reevaluate wear and tear over the last couple of years driving it. Haven't had to do anything to major, just some routine maintenance and replacing serviceable parts; cv axles, rear bearing, brakes all around, refurbished starter,. typically stuff really

Some of the things ill be doing as i collect parts for the bigger projects will include, de-chroming the trim, painting some stuff,. addressing some of the rust so it dosent get any worse,. couple electeonics upgreads; leds, stereo and speakers. got a dash project lined up, because cracks,. etc

Still trying to come up with a project name,. might have to take a poll

Wish me luck and stay tuned.

Thanks! been living in colorado since 2002 but I feel like I've seen so little of it,... time to try and change that.

We won’t be able to say this about the new Tundras, the new Tacomas, and the new upcoming 4RUNNER. They will be throw away vehicles by 120K.

I have been out here since 2016, just started back into hunting (new to elk hunting) and it’s taking me to amazing places.
