Is Trail Standard Offroad still around? Update.

Does anybody know if Trail Standard Offroad is still around or if they closed up shop? I’ve been trying to reach out without any luck.

Update: Finally got ahold of Travis at TSO (July 11) after trying for a very long time. The brackets in the bumper for the lightbar sheared with a 30” Diode Dynamics lightbar on. Travis was going to look for new brackets to send and I requested to see if the mesh insert could be sourced to install in lieu of the lightbar and it’s been radio silence since, even after trying to follow up to the previous email that I received a response from. I don’t know what’s going on with TSO but would advise caution since their website is still up and accepting sales.

 

In CA? Google shows their permanently closed.

If you post the area in California you're in I'm sure some users will point you toward a good shop.

 

Yeah, I saw that too but the website is still up so I figured there must be some merit to it. I have their Incog bumper and the tabs for the light bar sheared so I was trying to get some support from them on it.

 

I placed an order with them just recently as a new customer, order place don July 2nd, but no reply since. I reached out today as well but noticed the google Maps listing shows as closed. (Also was confused by the online shop still advertising products and accepting purchases).

 

Hopefully someone that knows more will chime in.

 

Did you try calling them? Hope they have not closed shop and still accepting orders. I had that happen with SSO.

 

I did when I first noticed my issues and didn’t get through to anyone. I honestly haven’t tried recently but my attempts to reach out through their website have still gone unanswered and it doesn’t seem like they’re active on social media anymore either so I may not get an answer from there either.

 

I called and got the "Number does not exist" automated reply. I also sent an email reply on my order confirmation, and reached out via instagram / Facebook-Messenger. Awaiting Reply, but, none the less still contacted my bank to reverse the transaction as it seems writing is on the wall here. =/.

Update:
— I did hear back from them via email. They said they are looking to ship out some products this Friday 7/12.

‍♂️ We’ll see if that happens, but, at-least we have some communication to go off of.

I’ll inquire further at the end of this week to ask about why there seems to be conflicting information online, etc.

 

I just sent them another message through their contact page. Hopefully they’ll see it because it doesn’t seem they’re active elsewhere which is odd.

 

Did your parts get shipped?

I got a response back Thursday but nothing since. No acknowledgement to the lack of communication or business operations, other than they’re not fabricating parts anymore.

 

Just updating to hopefully save someone a headache but I finally got ahold of TSO for them to be radio silent since the 11th. Contact info for them was removed off Google with the notice they’re permanently closed but the website remains up and selling product.

 

So what exactly are you saying?

 

I would proceed with caution if placing an order because it doesn’t seem like TSO is fully functional anymore and going to stand by/ support their products.

 

Looks like a website called Extreme Terrain is selling the TSO bumpers and others. I'm not linking it but you can type in Extremeterrain .com.
