    Hello from another new guy at the forum.
    If the quiet tire thing is just short term, consider looking on Craigslist or OfferUp.
    Folks pull their brand new or very slightly used junk all the time. Buy them wheels and all, slap 'em on, and pull them/sell them when you're done. I've had a fair bit of driving on both the Dunlops and Bridgestones that come stock and both are decent, quiet rides.

    If you were closer, I'd offer to swap you my Dunlops for the next 4000 miles. I'm dying to upgrade but made the deal that I wouldnt until these actually needed replacing.

    The Bridgestones that came on my TRD went quick once they decided to go at 25K-ish
    The Dunlops I bought as "get me by" tires for my 3rd gen actually lasted and performed quite well.

    Welcome. I find the stock Pro Terra Grapplers to be very quiet (compared to any other tires i've run recently). The roof rack makes more noise than the tires.

    Not to hijack Ted's welcome, but I'd agree with you on the Dunlops. Just rolled over 21k and they're still at 8/32 which should put them in the 60k range if I was going to really milk them
