    After a little offroading in UT in a hired 4Runner, I was sold on it's suspension over washboard roads. It will be time soon to replace the 2019 Highlander and the 2025 4Runner is at the top of my wishlist. Look forward to reading here.

    If it weren't for the marginal crash test ratings of the 2024 4R, I would go for this yrs model for the flatter fold down seats and the nonturbo reliability ..... want to sleep in the back and have comfy head height. Might be a problem in 2025.

    The new Tacoma crash tested better than the '24 4R so I am hoping the 2025 4R will also. The hybrid is interesting, otherwise would shy away from turbo.

    Appreciate all the insight from this forum.
