Hello 4Runner community, I’m loving everything 1 month in about my 4Runner, just have two quirks and wondering if it’s just my 4Runner with the following issues.
    1. At about 55-60 mph I feel my steering wheel with a slight shimmer. Probably needs balancing.
    2. I feel that my breaking pad and accelerater foot pedals are really close together. Is there a defect here or just not made for folks with big feet. (Size 12)

I’m looking into taking in to the dealership this week, but just wanted to ask if I’m the only one that has experienced the following. Thanks

I have noticed that my shoe will catch the brake pedal when I try to get on the brakes right off the throttle. I just try to pick up my foot more when I’m going for them.

The 55 to 60 shake is a tire pressure or balance issue. It’s very common, push to have your tires road forced balance, the runner seems to be very picky with tires from about 50 to 65 mph.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

    1) This is normal, but it shouldn't be! What I mean is that almost all 4Runners (and new cars have this problem). Surprisingly a lot of brand new vehicles need an alignment before or immediately after they are sold. I took mine back to the dealership and they did it for free.
    2) I haven't had this issue, yet. But I bet people with big feet and/or big construction style boots will have an issue. The only way around it is to be mindful when moving your feet.

Parts on order and vehicle in the shop for a near full PPF. It's that new.
No complaints about the pedal for me, but I've got the same steering wheel shake right at 60mph. It's going to the dealer on Thursday. Purchased on 7/4. Less than 400 miles on it now.

The stock Nittos on my ORP caused my shake. I replaced them with Wildpeaks around mile 700 and problem solved. Guessing a balancing issue as there was a lot of weights on the TRD rims.

Hello all, I’m a little late for an update to my steering wheel shimmy when hitting 60-65 MPH. Dealer took care of the problem with a balancing ,no more steering wheel shimmy(loving the smooth ride). Currently at about 1,700 miles.
