Food porn!

Breakfast for dinner (an early dinner, I was running around all day and realized that I hadn't eaten yet!) .

A home made 3 egg cheese omelet, applewood smoked bacon and a toasted English Muffin. I'm gonna demolish this bacon.

These ribs came in a BAG from Kroger. I was highly skeptical, but tried 'em anyway. They were only $10 (I think, maybe less?). They're St. Louis style ribs with a Hatch seasoning. They tasted freaking awesome. I didn't have to put any sauce on 'em, and they had a smokey-ish flavor to them.

The directions were simple: Do not thaw. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut a hole at the top of the back so steam can escape. Cook for 1hr 20 mins @ 400. Let sit for 10 mins after cooking. Then, enjoy!

I served 'em up with some shoe-string fries.

 

What's for dinner?

Does not need any seasoning. The flour adds just a thin layer of breading.

 

I usually get two cooks before changing the oil. Like dinner, breakfast, then clean swap out the oil for lunch.

 

There is a fish consumption advisory for the area. I mean its not THAT big.

 

Its like that on the whole East Coast. I always say "the benefit outways the risk".

 

Air fryer chicken wings (with a mild sauce) & shoe string french fries.

 

Do you always cook yours in the oven? I've been steaming my snow-crab legs in a big pot. My method is similar to yours, I season them with old bay.

 

I use Old Bay on pretty much all seafood. Good stuff!

 

I dont think Ive ever seen them sold uncooked? This place steams these fast from frozen takes mintues. Seasoned with Old Bay infused in the meat. Thats Five pounds. My wife has a shellfish allergy and does not like fish although she had some catfish.

 

I buy them from Krogers. They occasionally sell the 2lb box (frozen) for $19.98. I steam 'em in a pot. I got the idea from a local crab place in the DFW area "Joe's Crab Shack". I steam them with old bay and toss in a cut up sausage for about 15 minutes or so.

They always come out tasting dee-lish-us.

Home made breakfast tacos. Because who doesn't love a breakfast taco. Eggs, a little cheese, bacon & topped with a Mango Habanero salsa (Mrs. Renfro's brand).
