2013 grey 4runner

Hi everyone!

I am currently working on facelifting my 2013 4runner. Unfortunately, I was not aware of the difference between the before 2021 4runner headlights model and the after. I ended up buying 2022 4runner headlights, and it was too late when I noticed there were 3 wires instead of 2 like this YouTube video explained.

I was googling and found a big thread on this forum talking about putting on bi-LED headlights on the 2014-2020 4runner. After spending about 4 hours yesterday reading a discussion on this thread (https://www.4runners.com/threads/oe...on-adapters-for-14-20-halogen-4runners.25899/), I ordered option 2 from FBCHS (https://fbchs.square.site/product/4runner-2014-2020-oem-bi-led-headlight-conversion-harness/20). I probably should've asked before I placed an order, but I am trying to figure out at least before it gets shipped.

My main question is, will the 2022 4runner headlight I bought work with my 2013 4runner if I use the above conversion harness after doing what this person did at 3:11? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfzF1YsqgLM&ab_channel=WiscOutsideLife)

I really appreciate any help you can provide!
