Hey there — Brand New Member here with a couple questions for those of you who run an Ultra-Swing or something similar, along with a bike rack.

Curious how others may be handling this on their rigs (please share photos as I don’t often see folks with both installed simultaneously!)

I have a 2014 with a full length Sherpa creststone roof rack and a Greenlane hatch ladder.
Will have a stage 1 icon lift installed soon along with 275/70R17 BFG KO3’s
    + Icon Alloy Rebound Wheels
    ______

    Context:
This is mostly a perception (camera) & lighting question.

I do not have an ultra swing yet or a bike rack, but am planning to integrate both soon. Thinking ahead, I’d like to ensure I have a plan for good reverse visibility when it comes to the back-up camera and I also need to integrate some added rear-pointed lighting solutions. I am unsure where to mount each (though have my thoughts on what I think would be ideal) / and am not entirely sure what is possible.
    **How did you tackle this?

Note: I do not do any deep overlanding or off road rock crawling. I’m a weekend & holiday car-camp warrior and occasional road tripper who wants reliable solutions to frequent pain-points.

    Main concern:
    — Want to avoid the scenario where if I had an ultra swing and bike rack onboard, that the rear lights don’t get blocked / and that the rear camera view is also not blocked or minimally obstructed.

    First thoughts are:
    — to mount the rear Wolfbox camera to the spoiler somewhere(?) has anyone done this?
    — to get some small/medium Baja lights and mount just under the spoiler on left & right side where the vertical plastic panels are. Has anyone done this(?) looking for good clarity when reversing and want a white light (not red).

**I also see there are some under bumper mounts as well as a small hitch light on the market. But I imagine those may be obstructed with an ultra swing / bike rack on board. Or, do you think both the ultra-swing and bike rack will sit above any under-bumper light distribution?

Hi and welcome from a fellow newcomer...

I saw this video showing a lot of rear bumper install and modifications with double swing outs, and moving the camera to avoid blockage

FF to about 30 mins for the rear bumper part,

I had a hitch mounted DD reverse camera, and returned it...not worth the $$$ for the benefit provided
