Hello! This is my first post here. I'm having trouble figuring out where this buzz is coming from. I've changed the AC fan twice and am now waiting for an OEM part to make sure it's not the cheap replacement I used (lesson learned). I'm starting to doubt it's the fan because the buzz begins before I hear the air coming from the vents. Other than at start, it comes on intermittently.

I'm having a brain fart on what its called.

But sounds like it could the vents. I'm assuming 4th Gen the air vents from recirculate to fresh air is powered. Sounds like could be the motor.

That only came to mind because it turns on for like 10 seconds and then off which is what the brake booster does.

Weird that it would be that loud inside if it was a brake booster. I figure most were by the MC.

One of the 4 climate control servos is doing that. Two on the left side and two on the right side behind the glove box. Or is it three? anyway mine was one behind the glove box that controlled where the air went. It was an experience replacing it. If your lucky you can remove it and clean it without replacing it. There are how to's in the various forums.
