    Hi,
    Title is self explanatory.
I am not sure how to get access behind the trim piece.

    Thank you in advance.

I have turned the back into a campung platform, the seatbelts sometimes get into my way putting things and out, or cleaning.

ah man...........you gotta remove the rear seats. They connect into those plastics. There's a plastic thing connected tot he bottom of the back rear seats, snap that off / up and there's a bolt behind those you gotta take out to remove the seats. Then remove the trim at the bottom of the rear door, and that should be about it other than popping off circular things in those black plastics to expose bolts you need to remove.

....then i get you gotta remove the gray plastics after the black.

you can buy the extra retainer clips on Amazon

You don't need these endless doing stuff in the front of the car:

He might be wanting to remove the upper panel where the seat belt retracts. Did you remove those panels in your project?

Yes but you have to remove the lower plastics first.

Oh yeah. There's screws under the carpet too. The plastic at the floor of the hatch pulls straight up to remove the carpet.

So I pryed the top beige trim up just enough to allow me to tuck the seatbelt clip and anchor behind it. A quick and dirty job.

Are you removing that bottom bolt altogether? If so, it will leave a hole in the rear wheel well. That bolt protrudes into the wheel well and has sealant on the bolt end, at least most of the time.

Yeah you are right, those bolts poke through the rear wheel well. I have screwed them back in for now. I ordered m10x1.25 bolts by 1 inch long to replace those ugly shoulder bolts. Also ordered grommets to plug the holes.
